The proposed summer school ‘Green Innovation Challenge’ is supported by the Green Skills for Cities project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union under the KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education call.
The project establishes a transdisciplinary educational platform and curricula targeted at working in the public sector, focusing on the development of skills in the field of nature-based solutions for cities.
Objective of the Summer School is developing an interdisciplinary approach to cities through the use of Nature-based Solution (NbS) and will train participants with different seminars on intellectual property and patenting, prototyping and development of NbS design and strategy. Participants will work in interdisciplinary team with other UniGe PhD candidates (STAT and DAD schools) and remotely with PhD candidates of Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC).
