The Sea Study Centre is an interdepartmental center of the University of Genoa that brings together researchers who find their field of investigation in the sea and who train highly specialized and multidisciplinary skills.
Here more than 400 UniGe researchers carry out teaching and research on the sea.
These include many DiSTAV researchers with their multidisciplinary skills in the field of marine biology, ecology and geology.
