The Department of Earth, Environment and Life Sciences (DISTAV) and the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS) share know-how and collaborate actively in developing initiatives in the field of Earth and Marine Sciences and of Civil Protection. These initiatives involve teaching and research activities, management of joint facilities and laboratories; participation in national and international research projects; scientific dissemination and public engagement.
