The Department of Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences offers a very wide range of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. The Department of Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences belongs to the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences. DISTAV educational programs offered are among the most extensive in the entire University.

The Bachelor's degree programs in Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Environmental and Natural Sciences allow the Student to explore in depth the specific aspects of interest of Environmental, Life and Earth Sciences.

Master's degree programs in Applied and Experimental Biology, Marine Biology and Ecology, Nature Conservation and Management, Techniques for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, and Geological Sciences embrace a wide range of disciplines, allowing further specialization of knowledge in the biological, environmental, naturalistic and geological fields through interdisciplinary training and the use of modern laboratory techniques and methods of analysis and interpretation of results. 

Finally, for students who wish to further deepen their studies, DISTAV offers two PhD programs and different post graduation Masters.
