LOCATION: Palazzo delle Scienze, IV and V floor, rooms IV.04, IV.05, IV.11, V.03, V.06, V.22, V.23

RESEARCH TOPICS/BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
- Physiological response to stress in marine organisms, marine bivalves and fish in particular
- Mechanisms of innate immunity and responses to pathogens in aquacultured bivalve species
- Effects and mechanism of action of contaminants of emerging concern (i.e. endocrine disruptors, pharmaceuticals, nanomaterials)
- Early bivalve larval development: shell biogenesis and neurodevelopment
- Determination of Biomarker of stress in bivalve molluscs and fish in biomonitoring and aquaculture
- Microscopical, biochemical, molecular analyses
