LOCATION: Palazzo delle Scienze, 2nd Floor - Nord Side, Room #II.02
RESEARCH TOPICS:
The research topics mainly concern the study and monitoring of the turbidity of marine waters following anthropic activities, in the marine-maritime environment, for environmental protection. The pollution of the different environmental matrices (water, sediment and biota) is studied with regard to heavy metals and PAHs, and microplastics.
Another important topic of study is related to the safety of navigation in port areas during the phases of transit and mooring of ships.
