RSNI - Regional Seismic Network of Northwestern Italy

The Regional Seismic Network of Northwestern Italy (abbreviation: RSNI; international network code: GU) is currently composed of 32 seismic stations directly managed by the University of Genoa (Distav) located throughout the northwestern part of the Italian peninsula, making this network one of the largest and most important university seismic network, useful both for monitoring purposes and for scientific research and analysis purposes. The RSNI seismic network belongs to the Laboratory of Seismology of the University of Genoa (Distav), which also manages the maintenance of some seismic stations of the Italian National monitoring network of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), with which it has been collaborating for decades and exchanging data in real time.
